PREDOCKING INSPECTION

Solemar offers a pre-docking Inspection to provide you with insight you need to avoid unexpected finding during drydock.
Predocking Inspection to be carried out sufficient time before drydock period. Mainly this inspection’s aim is to get preliminary condition report of marine engines and decided to scope of maintenance during next drydock period.

Predocking Inspection package consist of below inpections
1. Scavenge Port Inspection : Cylinder condition report clearance measurement, visual inspection of cylinder component such as liner piston rings, skirt, piston rods and also air receiver non return flap blowers water mist catcher air cooler housing visual inspection.
2. Crankcase Inspection : Bearing clearance measurement , cranckcase bottom check, guide shoe&rail ,chain drive inspection trhust bearing and collar surfaces chain wheel measurement
3. Camshaft Section Inspection : Evaluation of running surface fuel & Exh cam and roller. Taking clearances compared with instruction.
4. General visual inspection of arond engine; pressure and temperature reading instrument condition leakage check around engine. Shaft erathing device function and condition foundation boltas and support condition, mechanical and hydraulic top bracing condition,
5. Service Performance : Evaluation of engine performance report with ISO corrected value.
6. Evaluation of Fuel oil & LO analysis report on board
